RAID 1 mirror two hard drive and provide backup when either drive crashes. Be default, Dell SC1425 server comes with built in RAID support (0,1). First, you need to enable it in the BIOS, choose RAID instead of SATA. Then, you need to configure the RAID with the Server Utilities.
Utility Mode
Enter F10 to enter Utility Mode. Check our Dell Documentation.
In the Adaptec RAID management, you need to create Array. Notes, use Insert to add drive. After you have done, you can either Build, Clear or Quick Init it.
