My dad came all the way from Johor to Kuala Lumpur, only to find out getting a license for his oil palm nursery is now can only be done ‘Online‘.
It was a quiet Friday afternoon in Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), Kelana Jaya. There is a desktop there which the very kind & friendly staff there is trying their best to show my dad how to use the system. That is how I was called to assist him on the spot.

I do not wish to list out one by one the problems of the system. Not my intention to discourage the effort of this agency to go online! Instead, I really admire the decision made and I believe it can be improved and it is a good move for sure!
My dad is the owner of an oil palm nursery which make him the user of this system. The system requires an email address during sign up and my dad has none.
